What is Muscle Corrective Therapy? 

MCT is a specialised set of stretch and release techniques, originally developed for the Australian Institute of Sport to help athlete’s recover in the fastest, most effective time.

First, we analyse your hip/pelvis alignment and feet positioning. The hips are the centre point of gravity and the foundation for the upper body and spine. Where the hips go, the rest of the body will follow. Then we look at the feet positioning to gauge postural alignment, looking for which muscles require release or strengthening.

MCT targets the muscles that could be restricting the skeletal system, and joint positioning.

4-6 sessions are typically required to change and stablise muscle memory.
